For those of you who read my review of our great reception at Maggiano's you'll remember the minor incident of our Cake Topper going missing after we cut the cake. The entire staff at Maggiano's searched high & low with no luck. I wasn't too worried as I bought it off EBay for like $20, but still it was sad. (Hubby & I thought it had somehow broke, and no one had the heart to tell us!)
Well I got home from work to find a box on our doorstep that contained the missing Cake Topper & a DVD....that contains a video montage not only of our wedding day, but our Cake Topper visiting all sorts of places around Las Vegas and the Western United States! (The "culprits" where on a road trip & our wedding was a stop for them.) It's so absolutely hilarious & I can't wait to show Hubby when he gets home!
So for you Maggiano's Brides who are worried about disappearing cake toppers, just wait awhile and see if one of your guests just doesn't surprise the heck out of you!!
