We are having an in-suite reception from 4:30-6:30 but that is just to provide our guests with structure... we rented it for the entire night.  I have read where knotties have up to 60 guests in the suite and it seems to work.  I am predicting that my guest list will be no more then 50...

    Take a deep breath.

Max guests is probably 60 or 65 depending on what you do with the seating, how the mingling is, etc. Your in suite can be as long as you like, and if it's available, yes you can book for additional nights.

I'm not sure where you got the information that it's only for four hours, unless those are for specific party suites that are run more like a regular venue.  In most cases, it's a regular hotel room, so you have it for the normal check-in to checkout interval.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

I believe you may be thinking of the Hospitality Suite at MB... which does not have any sleeping space.  Therefore, you may only be able to rent that for a few hours.

As mentioned above, the Vista Suite has a normal bedroom, so you can stay there :)
