It's valid for up to a year, I believe.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

What I did was pre-register online at home 1 month before the ceremony. We picked up the license 3 days before the wedding and had to give it right to the chapel place (we were married at Chapel of the Flowers) I'd say to make sure you pre-register for it if you haven't already because it took us under 5 minutes to pick it up and pay for it, but I heard the one couple say they've been waiting for 2 hours when the just stopped in for it!

Why can't you preregister?  I see all sorts of countries on the online application

I did the online app like 30 days out, but went and picked up the actual license like 3 days before. We went at like 11am on a Wednesday and NOBODY was there.

We actually got our marraige license on a scouting trip we took in July of this year.  It was a tuesday at like 1pm and we waited maybe 15 minutes. We didn't pre-register or anything.  Its valid for a year so we figured why not get it out of the way.

I just got my license on thursday. I did not pre-register, and it took 5 minutes, no line. Then again, I went to the Henderson location, not the downtown LV location... Smile
