Hospitality Suite at Mandalay Bay

Has anyone been to an In-Suite or seen this room in person during a scouting trip?  If so, what were your thoughts on it, paricularily compared to a Vista, if you saw one of those too?

I am still debating on what suite to get for our reception, cause I'm worried the Vista will be too stuffy, not enough sitting room etc. for about 50 ppl.  I called MB yesterday on the Hospitality, which the guy I talked to btw wasn't very friendly, but he first said the price for late next year is $700ish for a weekday and $1,000 for a Sat. 

If we do the Vista, we are getting it the night before too.  However, with the Hospitality we'd just get it for Fri. and get the adjoining room the night before.  But the guy said you aren't guaranteed that room, they can just put a request in for it.  Yet on their website it specifically mentions this connecting room that's available.  Why would they even mention this room if you can't for sure get it??

Any insight would be great!

I had the same issue you are having with the connecting room when I booked the Media Suite. At first the lady I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about and then after checking with her manager she told yes it was possible but that they can't guarantee you will get it until you check in, I'm like why are they offering it then in the first place?!

I also asked about the hospitality suite and she was like they "check" on you so if you aren't using our catering it might be an issue.

I hate getting conflicting information, especially since I can't just get into the car and drive down to verify it.

I'm gonna have 60-70 in the Media suite. I hope it doesn't get too cramped but if it does then we will have to use the bedroom too, I think it will be fine, not all 60 will be in the room at the same time either.
