Food and Beverage Woes - Help my lovely bridal friends!

I am a Florida bride planning for a destination wedding in Vegas. My venue will be off the strip at a private mansion - so all of the food and beverage options will need to be planned by me. I have a few places that have given me options, but I was wondering if I could get some good catering names from you all! I'm not looking for fancy things, just buffet style, chicken parmesan and mac and cheese, etc. Also, I will be buying the alcohol and bringing to the location. Does anyone know a cheap alcohol store in Vegas or around Vegas that I can get alcohol at a great cost? Thanks ladies! :))

I would suggest you look into Masterpiece Cuisine for catering. (Link in Bio).

For alcohol, there's a Lee's Discount Liquor. There's a few stores around town.

Yes I've read lots of good reviews on Masterpiece and Lee's Discount Liquor, hoping to use both of them myself.

MC is excellent.  We had our RD catered by Fazoli's, who do delicious Italian fast food for super cheap.  It was also a huge hit.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

There are also numerous Sam's Clubs in the area.  I plan on getting my cake and alchol there.  You might have a better budget to get a better baker but you could get your booze there.  Not sure if the price is any better than Lee's which I have heard a lot about on many boards.  I have heard, Sam's will take returns on any unopened bottles.  Sounds good, although knowing my clan, I can't imagine we could have too much!

Lee's is awesome and there are many of them around town. I personally love Total Wine. There is one in Henderson Green Valley area and one in Summerlin. I agree with Masterpiece Cuisine, though they will only do 6 events per day so they do get booked up fast. I don't know what part of town you will be in but there are also many places you can order food from and there are also delivery services that will pick up your food items, as well as services that will provide bartenders/waitstaff/kitchen help if you need it. Cuisine Pros does this and Absolute Beverage does bartending events. Another catering option is Natalie Lttlefield's and she seems pretty reasonable. They offer a "drop-off" option in which you can order the food and they will just deliver it if you do not want to hire event staff. For cakes, you can use a place like Freed's or LV Cake Design and they will deliver. I actually had a tasting & consultation with Albertson's bakery. Their cakes are delicious and for a wedding of 40 ppl they would have provided me with 2 cakes (a small & large round cake) frosted and stacked on one another with coordinating ribbon around bottom edge for just the cost of the normal cake round price ($10 & $19) and I would have just fresh flowers added to it as long as I provided them with the flowers. They deliver for a fee too. Most other cakes in town will start around $200+ delivery fees.

Thanks on all of your replies on Master Piece cuisine - I had tried to do business with them and they were very unprofessional. They tried to tell me that I was required to pay a deposit to have my quote revised. :( Thanks anyway - Any other suggestions on catering?

Thanks for the liquor suggestions :) Total Wine has been a big help!

Charlotte, how was your experience with Masterpiece? Scott was very rude to me, I am happy to hear that he has been nice to you.

Everyone has an off day but I can't believe they were rude to you. Rarely hear anything negative about them.  I heard that Maggiano's has a carry out or delivery option for catering.
