Nevada-Las Vegas

Reviews Part 1

I'm bacccck!!! After spending 8 days in Vegas I was almost feeling like I lived there and was a professional gambler! Haha!

My day was perfect and absolutely nothing went wrong! All of my vendors get A++ reviews.

Francesca Lombardo: A++++++
She was AMAZING. So sweet, humble and just what I needed on a day when it is so easy to get stressed. Her assistant did 7 bridesmaids and mother's hair and she did all the makeup and my hair. Everyone looked stunning. She is worth every penny. Even though she may be a few dollars more than some other artists, you will not regret using her. I found that texting her was the best option since she gets bogged down with emails at times. She was outstanding and is truly wonderful.

Double Decker Bus: A++
The bus was an AWESOME alternative to a rehearsal dinner. We had 47 people, (44 on top and grandparents on bottom) We rented it for 4 hours 7pm to 11pm and drove down the Strip to Freemont Street and spent 2 hours down there. I had plenty of beer and music on the iPod and everyone had a blast!! So fun. Great views, and the temperature was perfect!! We dropped off the liquor and coolers the day before at the bus company, and they came with it all  iced right on time. I would highly recommend this as an activity for your guests.
Make sure to bring extra money to tip, the drivers expected an additional gratuity and I did not want my guests to feel like they had to tip. So bring some cash!!!

Debi Fit For a Bride: A+++++
Debi and her ladies were so sweet and kind. I dropped off my dress on Tuesday at 11am and they had it ready by Wednesday at 11am. Super close to the Strip (like 5 mins) and was a really cute little shop. They did an amazing job with my dress and made it look gorgeous! Please don't hesitate to use her, she is worth every penny!! I loved her!!

Bell Trans: A++++
I used them a lot for different purposes during our trip. We had limo service pick up some guests at the airport; we used two 31 passenger shuttles to take guests from Caesars to the reception at Planet Hollywood; had a bridal party limo to take us from Planet Hollywood to Caesars; and finally, we used the 12 passenger Escalade limo for the Bridal Party during our Strip tour. They were on time for everything and all the drivers were friendly. I would recommend them. I would also tell everyone to get the limo if you have a larger bridal party like mine (10 including me and my DH) Even though my wedding was at 7pm, it was still quite warm and it was nice to have a place for A/C and some bubbly! I would not want people to feel tired or have their feet hurt from walking.

Caesars Palace (Venus Garden) A++
I had originally booked Juno Garden over 14 months ago, and was naturally pretty upset that they closed it for construction. However, the Venus Garden was awesome. It was very shaded and was perfectly tucked away in the pool complex. Brian Ross was the officiant and was wonderful!!! The wedding went by sooo fast, it was only like 10 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend paying $300 for the rehearsal as it was good to see what we would be doing, go over name pronunciations, and just get some nerves out. I know some past Knotties said they didn't need it, but for me it was worth the peace of mind. Plus, it allowed me to have unlimited bridal party members without paying the extra fee.

  • Congrats! What spots did you go to on your photo strip tour?
  • woot woot congrats
  • Pnutbtr-- We used the DD bus just to take guests downtown, we didn't do a photo tour with that. We did do a photo tour with Todd and used a stretch limo. We went to the Cosmo, Bellagio, Paris and Planet Hollywood. I will post Pro pics when I get them.

    Ok great! I've booked a strip your with Todd but have no idea what spots to hit. Can't wait to see your pics!
  • My mom doesn't think we need a rehersal but I personally think we do. I really need to make sure my daughter will be fine walking down with my niece and I need to make sure they get the names right. Plus I'd feel a lot better having an idea of how it would go. Hopefully I can convince her and hopefully it's available!!
  • Petitmonstree-- I would do the rehersal. It is just worth the piece of mind. Book it soon, if you do though.

    Married in Vegas - June 2011

  • great reviews.... very helpful as we are using s number of the same vendors. How much was the double decker bus?? I have tried to find the info on their website... but am either not looking in the right place, or its not on there? We are thinking of using this as our "welcome" event for our guests when we first arrive.
