I got lash extensions twice (should've learned the first time around) and will never get them again. All of my eyelashes fell off as the extension ones started falling. Now I have to wear fake lashes until mine grow again ... they're coming in slowly but they're coming back.

Just a little note for those of you that want lash extensions.

</div><div>I did it twice at separate times and both times fell off. You may be able to do it and then have them professionally removed. I'm not sure if there are others that have had luck with them but everybody that I've talked to about them went thru the same thing. And they're a pain to keep up! You can't rub your eyes, you have to be very careful when you remove your make up, have to be careful how you sleep, you have to brush them so that they don't clump together... they're beautiful but the high maintenance is not worth to me. I rather do fake lashes from now on when I want the wow factor.

I'm not telling you not to get them... try them and you may have better luck... the worst that can happen is that they fall off but they do grow back... believe me :)

One of my BM's is a hair stylist, and she has lash extensions and continues to get refills, she says sure someone can apply them incorrectly where they can damage your lashes, but if done right they should not.  Do they maybe feel a little thinner after they are taken out, yes, but you lose eyelashes all the time, it's just like hair extensions, your hair always feels a little thinner after those are taken out as well.

I will say I totally love her lashes, and if I wanted to splurge for them, I totally would!

Regarding this deal, she sees a couple red flags, she thinks that they may just be individual sections of basically fake eyelashes that the lady is applying with just glue which are not lash extensions.  It says a full set only takes a half hour I think, she says no way, they definitely take longer than that.  She also said that the lash brand she says she uses is a good brand, however, the stylist on the Groupon is not on their list of distributors which she should be if that's the kind she uses.

She was going to call her friend who does her lashes to see if there is such a thing of lash sections for extensions, and would let me know, but I haven't heard back.  The other red flag is the cost, that is pretty damn cheap for a full set of lashes, like weirdly cheap.

So, obviously you can take the chance and maybe they'd still look good for a couple days.  But for me, my fake lashes are included in my makeup for the wedding day and if my lady is using basically the same thing as this lady meaning just sections of fake lashes, why pay $25 something already included. (If that make sense).

Good luck though if you take the shot, hopefully the'll work out!

More than likely, yes.  I got eyelash extensions done for the wedding and yep they're falling out.  The process is basically having fake eyelashes one by one glued to your real eyelashes.  The time quoted by the lady on the Groupon is kinda wtf..?  I think having mine done took an hour and a half.

I don't regret doing it for my wedding, because combined with the fake eyelashes Francesca put in it looked great and it meant I had nice eyes the whole week of the wedding without any hassle, but I probably wouldn't do it again.  After a week or so they fall out more and the ones left start to go weird directions; even using an eyelash curler it's difficult to get them to stand the way they should. I will say although many of my lashes have fallen out, it's not that noticeable.  If you don't have very full lashes to begin with it's possible it would look worse.
