Hi Ladies!!

I made my decision to have my ceremony/reception at Wynn and Joe's but I spent alot of time talking to Jillian Kyde at Mandarin Oriental also.  They have a BEAUTIFUL hotel and are very new.  Jillian spent alot of time with me trying to see if it possible to have a wedding there within my budget.  She really is amazing.  The propoerty is very different and very modern.  I would say if you are looking for a place to have a ceremony + reception and want to bring in YOUR OWN photographer I would email Jillian.  She really made the decision very difficult!  Fiance and I decided on a more traditional route but figured I would let you all know about this hidden gem!

My fiance just met with her today!  We may choose the Mandarin, but we're still trying to decide if we want a Vegas wedding or a Napa vineyard wedding.  VERY different directions - Decisions, decisions!

Any tips or opinions would be greatly appreciated

So this has nothing to do with the Mandarin but FI and I were also considering a Napa wedding. I have family in Napa and his family is in Vegas. We ended up picking Vegas for a couple of reasons: our money would go a lot further and it would be much easier / affordable for our guests (family & friends are scattered all over the country).

@direy25 - We live in San Francisco and everyone we know is pushing for a Napa wedding.  It would be easier for them...BUT...I agree with you.  You're money gets you a lot more in Vegas.  And, it's Vegas!  Super fun!

Where did you guys decide to get married?

We're getting married at the Revere Golf Club - it's actually in Henderson about two minutes from FI's parents' house. Definitely must be a tough decision for you, Napa is so gorgeous!!
