Timeline at Chapel of the Flowers?

Hi...

I've given up on trying to figure this out from old posts...

We're thinking of using Chapel of the Flowers next year for our wedding and debating on the time we'd like to book the La Capella Chapel.  I am thinking of getting the regel pkg, which includes the 20 minute photo shoot.

So if you book, for example, the 5:00 time slot, how does this all work time-wise? Ceremony starts slightly after 5:00, so by 5:30, you're doing the photo shoot, and by 6:00, you're on your merry way?  It might sound silly but I might try to time it so the sun is setting just after our ceremony, so we'd have different light for the photos (if that make sense).

ALSO, I saw on the website that Chapel of the Flowers sell bubbles for $1/ea.  If my sister were to bring bubbles, will the staff freak out because she didn't buy theirs?

THANKS

Re: Timeline at Chapel of the Flowers?

  • Well I am also getting married at CoF and using the La Capella chapel. I am getting married at 8pm.. the timeline they have for us is like:

    8pm Ceremony
we added 30 min on-site photos
sooo the schedule says leaving property at 8:50

    Hope that helps

ok here goes i got married here last week. We arrived at around ten minutes before the ceremony. We had forms to fill out and a meeting with the photographer for about 5 mins. Then we met the officiant for about 5 mins and then your ready to go. Your guests go into the chapel and you wait outside. THey tell you when to walk in and everything. Ceremony takes about 10 minutes and after you go and talk with the minister for a few mins after. Then you meet with your photographer and she/he directs the shoot you can tell her what kind of style you want. Once its done your co-ordinater gets your guests and your limo guy takes you home! you'll be there for an hour tops!
  • Robert5 did you enjoy Chapel of Flowers, I am thinking about going here as well, I intend on getting the traditonal package though.  I have a ball gown, so I am not sure how all that is going to work...Congrats too
