Pre-Wedding Shipping Needs - Mandalay Bay

The FI and I would like to ship our honeymoon stuff along with some wedding items out (from Indiana) ahead of time.  Has anyone done this before and what suggestions do you have?  Does MB accept/hold packages for you until you arrive?

Thanks!

I haven't done that yet at MB but just a word of caution, most resorts will charge you what can be a pretty obnoxious fee to your room for receiving shipments, as much as $25 per package, and you won't know it until you see your bill if you don't ask in advance, so I'd call them.  If you have a bunch of stuff coming in, might be better to call a UPS Store out In Vegas to see if you can ship there and go get it.

Married in Vegas - June 2011

Hi!  We were married at MB in October and shipped about 5 boxes to the business center ahead of time.  They do charge you to receive them.  We weren't thrilled but we also didn't have much choice.  Just FYI - I also shipped a box home with my dress and a few other things that I didn't want to bring on my honeymoon.  We went with a prepared fed ex label (I get a discount through work) and they still charge to ship.  Here is the website with the list of charges.  HTH!
