If you're going to use a casino/resort chapel, ball room, restaurant, etc, make sure you find out what they do and do not allow with regard to outside vendors; many places on the strip prohibit you from using outside vendors for various aspects of your wedding, most often photographers but sometimes much more, which can greatly change the pricing.  Most price quotes will not include the 20 to 25% gratuity (aka 'service fee') or tax.  For venues that have a 'food and beverage minumum' rather than a rental fee, find out what it includes and doesn't include; some places have seperate alcohol fees that are per person per hour.

Make sure you schedule appointments with places you really want to see don't just wing it because they may be busy, closed, or by appointment only.
