Harmony Medina and Melissa Ferreira Makeup/Hair

Having a rough time deciding on who to pick for hair and makeup...

Does anyone have any personal wedding pics using one of these artists they would not mind sharing??

I would prefer to make a decision off of personal pics over pics on their website..

Ricekim used Ferreira and shared her pics and looked absolutley beautiful... which has me leaning towards her. But still unsure if I should go with Harmony.. Harmony seems to have really good reviews too but they  all seem to be by the same person.. Nina.. Which I still havent seen any pics..

I used Lori White and adored her.....I talked to both Harmony and Ferreira first, and then talked to Lori, and loved Lori. So glad I went with her. I have a link to non-pro pics several posts down.

But don't I remember you posting something about Harmony only being available for a certain part of the day and that you might be cutting it close?  Is Ferreira available the whole day?  I just personally wouldn't want to hire someone that's going to be rushing because she has multiple bookings in one day.

I agree with direy and take into consideration their availablity.  I'll also add a little bit about my experience with Harmony thus far.  I can post pictures next week after my trial and wedding.  First, I've been booked with her for months.  She was easy to get  in touch with, helpful with timing recommendations, and a breeze to reserve. 

However, twice since she has tried to get me to start our appointments earlier.  The first time was maybe a month ago and I declined.  She sent me a text this week saying she again wanted to start 90 minute earlier.  I'm guessing it's so she can do some other work after our party, but I do not need or want to be ready 2.5 hours before our In-Suite Ceremony when we aren't taking any family/couple photos prior.

I used Harmony Medina this past weekend for my wedding and she was wonderful!!!  I just loved her!  She was so down to earth and very easy to speak to. She was prompt and stayed on schedule.  I have pictures posted in this message board titled pics from Tropicana.  Our wedding was at 5pm and my first bridemaid was started at 11:30 and she nor anyone else needed any touchups, her make up is airbrushed and has a flawless finish.  I would book her again in a heart beat!!

Like I told you in the PM I have been busy with work and I haven't gotten a chance to actually sit down and go through pictures and show you the before and afters. I actually got online to get your email address so I could send you the pictures.. so check your email today they should be there. I know I am not the only person to have used Harmony and post pictures.

Nina is not the only knottie to have used Harmony and given a good review. If you plug Harmony's name into the search function you will find there are many threads about her and some even include pictures, or knotties have pictures in their bio.  I believe cduong, mollytn75, and 1destinationbride all used her and gave her good reviews. You can do a search for their posts and probably find pictures as well.
