I have been on the boards for almost a year and no bride has posted that they have used it. Also....I would check because MB might not give you that room unless you book their catering. I used the Vista and we had no problems getting food in.

i just booked it for a Saturday in October.  Last minute plans, so had to find something & the Vista at MB and Terrace at MGM were booked.  Guys at Masterpiece catering said they've worked parties there before, but get the feeling they say that about everywhere.  If anyone has any pictures of the view from there and would post them it'd be much appreciated.

I would try and book the vista suite if you could, I looked at the hospitality suite and i was not overly impressed. I found that it would be a little snug for my 50 guests

the hospitality is 2300 sq ft w/ 2 bathrooms (has no bedroom - you can get an adjoining regular hotel room for beds) and the vista suite is 1035 sq ft (when you exclude the bedroom - which most people wouldn't be in, hopefully haha, for your reception)

    Hello,

I  booked the Hospitality Suite for our wedding reception after our original location was closed down within the last week(Rum Jungle).  They do not allow outside catering in the room.  However, you can contact hospitality and they will send you group catering menu's that have a nice selection and reasonably priced.  You can stock the room in the bar with your  your own alcohol & do not have to use the alcohol from catering.  However, if you do so, they are not allowed to serve or handle it. There is mention in the contract about a charge for using outside alcohol, but they work around it.  Also, we are brining in a cake from an outside vendor & they are fine with that.  But, they will not do set up.  So far, they are very accomodating.  Keeping my fingers crossed it all goes off without a hitch.  Good luck!

I am currently trying to book hospitality suite for my reception.  I have it booked, but they are being very difficult about alcohol, the amount of people I can have in the room, and different people tellm e different stories about if I can have a DJ in the room or not.  Did anyone actually have the wedding there yet, and how did it go?!
