Name Bad Vendors, help fellow brides

Ok, I've search sites time and time again and I hear about really good vendors, and it sounds like over all most businesses are respectable. My question is what vendors would you never use again and never recommend! Which ones do you wish you never booked? The ones a bride would recommend to stay away from? Even, which ones did you just have a bad experience with.

Personally, I'm trying to find a photographer, and like I said above, so many sound really good. Which ones would you say you didn't like at all?

I have been pretty happy with all my vendors, except YOLOs where we are having our Welcome Dinner. The group dining service has been pretty dire and the booking process is overly complicated. I still haven't received confirmation from the reservation we made in December, and they haven't taken the deposit either. Would not recommend them at this point.

Wynn/Encore restaurants group dining also cannot be bothered to reply to emails so I really struggled to book my Bachelorette Night dinner. Luckily I have a contact there who sorted it for me in the end.

I am using Bently & WIlson for photography. The booking process has been very simple and although we have not yet discussed specifics, eg. must-take photos etc he seems quick top reply to emails and previous reviews (and photos) have been great.

I'll co-sign the issues with Yolo's. I wouldn't classify them as a "bad" vendor, but I didn't have a good experience with them. It's almost as if they can't be bothered to take business. They seem overwhelmed and unorganized when it comes to group dining, but a few knotties have had great experiences with them.  I'd maybe be willing to try them again for dinner, but would not suggest using them for anything wedding related.

Ditto Yolos...but I think its both Yolos and Ark Vegas (Reservations dept). I loooove Yolos for dinner but I think if you try to plan something there...its a mess. The guy at Ark Vegas (?) is horrible to work with...thats why we ended up not going with them.

When we first started looking at venues, we had an impossible time communicating with the Venetian wedding chapel people.  We were really interested in looking at their outdoor courtyard, but they were horrible with getting back to us and when we finally got someone on the phone (we were in Vegas, wanting to schedule a tour), they did not listen to us at all and thought we wanted to get married THAT DAY.  We ruled them out and never even looked at their chapels.  That's the only bad vendor I've dealt with tho, and it was a year ago, so maybe its better now.

I wasn't happy with my communication with Megan from Makeup in the 702.  It took two email attempts before she would give me a simple price list--long, rambling, poorly spelt emails that were full of hard sell, and her prices ended up being too high anyway.  Not impressed.  I ended up going with Francesca Lombardo and was very satisfied.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

I had the same issues with the Venetian. We finally got a meeting and we are having a nice 150 person wedding and they were just totally uninterested. Ended up going with the Four Seasons, could not be happier. We have been using the Four Seasons vendor list and have not had any problems. Also pretty unimpressed with the Mirage. They wanted me to book my evening reception right next to their showroom so I would be walking around in my wedding dress through a crowd of people going to see the Terry Fator show. umm No.

We are using Studio ATG for photography and our engagement pictures are amazing. My biggest problem is limiting the amount of photos we order to our wall space.

I disagree on the comments about Megan from makeup in the 702.  She gave me prices right away and was very sweet and even tried to work out a package deal for everyone.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.
