Vegasgroom, locals, foodies.... please tell me:

In your opinion, where's the best steak you've had in Vegas?
Please tell me about it. TIA!

Best steak? Hands down, the best steak dinner I've ever had was at Prime in Bellagio.  I was surprised becuase I like Del Frisco & N9ne, but Prime was an experience. (a wallet buster, too!)

I've heard good things about Craftsteak.  The only steak I've had in Vegas was at Delmonico, which was excellent.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

We ate Kobe at Fleur de Lys (Mandalay Bay), it was amazing.  Just ate at Cut (Palazzo), was ok.

Also, out cabbie on the last trip told us about a place called the Golden Steer just off the strip.  Apparently they have amazing 16 ounce (yes sixteen) steaks for ~$60.

I definitely love the steak at N9NE, and I love it more than Berns Steakhouse here in Tampa which is regarded world wide as one of the best steakhouses, but I have not been to Prime so sounds like that needs to go on my list for next visit.

I have to stick a vote in for STRIPSTEAK at Mandalay Bay. We ate there for our anniversary and it is amazing. We travel frequently between Texas and Chicago and I have had my share of steak. I love Stripsteak. The dry aged Kobe is amazing. My favorite is in Chicago, and that is David Burke's Primehouse, but I would say Stripsteak is in close second.

Del Friscos is amazing. Also if you're looking for something a little different Texas De Brazil is really good and fairly close to the strip, it's located in Town Square which is a couple miles south of Mandalay Bay on LV Blvd.

vegasgroom - OMG - Berns is our favorite too!
Unfortunately, we live out of state or we would be there all the time.

In Vegas we like - Charlie Palmer, CUT and N9NE

Have you ever gone on the tour?  We go every time and pretty much have it memorized lol.  I just get a kick out of standing around in a wine cellar where there are bottles that cost more than I make in a year and are older than my oldest living relative.

If you're not afraid to venture out to the boonies, Bob Taylor's Ranch House is where I've had the best steak, ever.  They are way out in the Northwest, but worth the drive.

Don't mind driving! Thanks for the idea, so many to choose from.  Silverton sounds great, I love sides and so does FI.

I got a FB notice about Embers at Imperial Palace being one of the best kept secrets in Vegas in terms of food and price.  I looked at the menu online and they have some pretty good looking steaks and good prices.
