dress stress!

I was told my dress would be in this week. Its at a store an hour away so I called today, and they told me it wouldn't be in until the end of the month now. That only leaves me a month until my wedding for alterations etc. And that's if it actually comes in the end of the month. Ekkk. Anyone else have this same expeirence? Should I be nervous?

i would call later in week and get eta and explain to them when you were told the dress would be in.  also explain the delimna maybe they can step it up

I did tell them I was told my dress was supposed to be in first week in July. She looked and said that delivery says July 28th. I told her that only gives me a month for alterations and the woman told me I would be fine and right on track. Just makes me nervous.

i would say tell her you want a copy of the invoice of when it states july 28th... i would also look on your paperwork and see what it says.

I was in a panic today cos its 7 wks to go and no sign of the bridesmaids dresses and they need to be cut from full to calf length, my friends who used to work at a bridal shop reassured me that alterations can be done in a day so perhaps find out how long she expects it to take to give you some piece of mind x
