Welcome Party- what did you do or are you doing?

What are you ladies doing?
We are in a bit of a pickle- I was all excited for the Double Decker Bus tour as a "welcome party" for our guests- two hours together drinking and having fun seeing the strip. Well the bus only holds 72 and it looks like our confirmed guests are going to be more then that. It was such a great price for a welcome party- so bummed :(.
Any other ideas, what have you done or are doing??

We were also going to do a limo tour AFTER our reception/dinner, but same problem, we ended up having too many people show interest in coming and informally RSVP.  I think we'll just have an informal meet up at a bar in City Center close to where most of the guests are staying.

We just did beer and pizza in our suite, but we only had maybe 25 in town the night before and they didn't all come at once.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

We went to Margaritaville the night before the wedding and then went out to a club. It was very informal, but lots of fun! It was about 30 people, not everyone that was there for the wedding came to the dinner.

We are planning on going to Yolo's Mexican Restaurant (PH), we might split into women/men groups afterwards...

We're doing no host cocktails at Mix Lounge.  I really want to host an appetizer reception at Border Grill, but Darling wants the view from the high floor.  I even considered a hospitality suite, but alas - MB is all sold out of large suites on 12/10!
<sigh />  I'm drop going to drop a tons of $$ on appetizers for our guests that arrive that night!

Anyone have experience with their small bites menu?

Im getting married on a Wednesday and we're arriving on Sunday (as well as most guests). On Monday we are having a M&G brunch followed by the split of men/women. Men are going to the gun range. Women to the spa. Followed by bachelor/ette parties. Tuesday we are booking tickets to a show (probably KA as it's in our hotel - hopefully it plays on Tuesdays!). Sleep and then it's go time!

KA is dark on Sun & Mon. It's a great show. We've seen it twice. In fact the only Cirque show we havn't seen is that trainwreak known as beLIEve.
I highly recomend going to Tix4Tonight. We got great seats for super cheap when we went a few years ago with my parents.

I really really wanted to do a party at Kahunaville but got outvoted.  I think it would have been a ton of fun!

Ours was very casual. We told our guests to come to the buffet at MB if they wanted to. We had 30 guests join us. After we walked over to the piano bar in the casino bar. It was SO much fun! They brought us up and the piano guys sang a song just to us. It was very spontaneous and very fun!

We had our Welcome Party in the Vista Suite at Mandalay Bay.
Masterpiece did the catering. We did our own music.
    Had about 30 guests attend.

We had a laid back get together in the Vista suite at MB.  MB group dining put together a pizza buffet for us....we provided our own beverages.

This same question gets asked so many times. Do people read current threads before starting new ones? No offense, I just see this a LOT.

We met up at Khahunaville in TI.
