Scouting Trip planned...need my fellow knotties help please

We are going to Las Vegas later this year to do a scouting trip and need your help.  I want to visit a couple places for each and not sure what other ones to viist.  I am turning to you for other suggestions and appeciate your help in advance. 

Things to do while in Las Vegas

1. Find a bakery-Cake tasting & get quote

·        Freed’s Bakery

·        Another suggestion please

2. Find a florist for reception flowers-get quote

·        Pam @ The Palette

·        Another suggestion please

3. Meet with WC at CP to see the garden

4. Meet with Private Events Coordinator at Joe’s to see the Gigi room

    How about Retro Bakery? I'm using them and Pam@ the Palette so I don't have another suggestion for flowers.

    I would recommend Faith at We Luv Flowers.  They are WAY off the beaten path but may be able to give you good prices.  We are using them because they are the the GN florist of choice.  But again, they are way off the beaten path.  We had to take a cab there but we walked back to the GN.

    Cake Designs Las Vegas is doing mine. I loved their flavors and designs and their prices are very reasonable. Their website lvcakedesigns.com has pricing options and a few of their cake options. Their facebook page has alot more of their recent work.

    We are using Naakiti floral. Randi is super creative and her designs are gorgeous. I saw her work at a bridal show and fell in love. Her communication is awesome. I would give her a call or e-mail her, so you can set-up an appointment. If you know what you want already she could probably put together a mock-up for you. She did one for my mom and I.

    Las Vegas custom cakes. I'd never recommend freeds...

    We're getting our from Las Vegas Custom Cakes. I loved her sketch and the flavors were yummy. pricing was very good for what we are after.

    We also tasted Freed's. Prices were very similar , cake was good. I just felt we got more personalized service at LVCustomCakes.

    Also sampled GimeeSomeSugar. The lemon cake was yummy. The red velvet was a bit dry. And they were the most expensive. However, we did have them make my birthday cake and it was amazing!


    ETA: I'm going with Pam for flowers. I was very happy with the quote she gave me and the centerpiece ideas she came up with.

    I also loved Las Vegas Custom Cakes out of all the popular ones I visited, for taste/price/sketch, all of it.
