Doug Loman--or other officiant recommendations

Hi All,
I was referred the name of Doug Loman for an officiant but can't find any reviews on him.  I was wondering if anyone has used him or else has a good recommendation for me.  We are more non-traditional, non-religious.  Just want someone who is cool, interesting, and funny.  Anyone come to mind?  Thanks.

We used Rev Roland August, he'll do anything from traditional to Elvis, and anywhere.  I watched a lot of the Mandalay ceremonies online and the ones he did didn't seem to sound the same every single time so I contacted him because I liked that and wanted something more personal; he did a great job.

Thanks.  I got an email back from Doug and he is not available but gave the name of JIm McNamara.  Anyone know him?  I"ll look into your recommendation Vegas Groom.  Thanks!

We're using Rev. Linda. Her fee seems a little more than others ($400), but so far she's been great. We just skyped with her last week and planned out most of the ceremony. We're also non-traditional, non-religious, and she's down with that. :) Here's her website: http://www.revlindavenniro.com/

Ditto Reverend Linda! She was fantastic! I do think another bride on here used Jim McNamara and loved him. Wildstyle maybe? Edited for spelling

OMG, Vegas is a small world!  I go to the same church as Doug and Jimmy and didn't even realize they did weddings on the side.  LOL!

    Edit: Adding useful info
They're both really great and warm personalities.  I'm not close with them, but I can totally picture them doing a great job.

I've been looking for officiants, and they've been right under my nose the whole time!

Hi - I am late to the game but I am  the one who used used Jimmy Mac.  Found him thru Doug also.   Very funny and very nice.

I wish more brides on here would use him - I can't say enough about how fantastic he is!  I'm very non traditional and non religious but my husband's family is more religious.  Worked out fine. fact, the most religious part of the ceremony was the reading my MIL gave which quoted the bible etc which I wasn't expecting.

I'm Jewish and my husband's fam is christian (not to mention from overseas and I am American) and he chose exactly the right things to say that married the two cultures together very nicely.
  • This is Jimmy Mac and I want to thank everyone for the kind words mentioned about me.  I take each wedding I perform as the most important day of your lives - it really means a lot to me to be able to perform it for you.  My website is http://www.jimmymacvegas.com    Please feel free to visit it.  Again thank you and God bless!Laughing
