Bartender for an In-Suite Reception?

Hey All-
Has anyone gotten a bartender for an in suite? With the budget dollars saved with going w/ Masterpiece, I'm wondering if it be worth it to invest in a bartender. Any pro's (and con's) to doing it? I am looking at the Vista Suite as well.

Also, Have the bartending services y'all have used brought supplies? Or was is just a person to make the drinks?

I was talking to Scott from Masterpiece yesterday and he mentioned they have a recommendation. I think he said it was like $25 an hour or so. That was just for the actual bartender. It will probably still be cheaper to go buy the alcohol from a store then pay someone to bring it.

If you're planning on having liquor/mixed drinks i'd probably do it. We only had beer and wine at our in-suite so it wasn't neccessary.

We bought the alcohol from Lee's Discount Liquor and hired Greg from Absolute Beverage - he was well worth it. Stayed late, remembered everyone's drink, great conversations.

@JennaV26 Did Absolute bring anything with them, or just show up? Did they reccomend what you should supply? I am not the best party planner so I'd need some guidance so as to make sure the bar was appropriately stocked.

Greg brought "tools" and wine glasses for B&G. Lynn from Absolute Bev was great to work with.

MC included a bartender and drinks in our package.  I thought that was just easier than shopping around.

We only served champagne, beer, and a couple mix drink options. My brother and cousin were more than happy to play bartender. Unless you have a lot of mix drinks, it really isn't neccessary.
