Outside food at MGM

I think we have decided to have an In Suite Reception at MGM... but we would like to have food brought in from an outside caterer... I know that a lot of hotels look down on this, but they look they don't really enforce it.. how strict do you know/ think that MGM is on this policy?

    We are doing an insuite reception at the MGM and went with one of their packages. They have been great to work with and the price has been reasonable. As far as bringing food in from the outside I am not sure how that works. I know some hotels are strict on that. Goodluck.

    I think it's more of a don't ask, don't tell thing. I know past knotties have had in suites at MGM and haven't had any issues.

    I called around to a couple restaurants and they said they have delivered there before.. like you were saying "Don't ask don't tell".  So I may give it a shot.  I haven't really looked at the in house catering packages.  I will take a look.  It seemed with the other hotels to be way overpriced.  So I just stopped looking at that option.  But it may be worth taking a second look. :)
