wanted - budget (outdoor) wedding for two

Help!  Getting married in August.  Wanting outdoor evening wedding.  Is it cheaper to make up my own "package" by finding a public place and having a minister and photographer meet us there?  Do hotels or local parks (Springs Preserve, Lake Las Vegas) allow you to use their grounds for short and sweet ceremonies/photography? Also looking into just planning everything with Little Chapel of the Flowers, I like what they have for outdoor pictures.  This whole getting married in Vegas thing was supposed to be easy and less stress, but not when you have to work to do all of this research!  Thanks for your help!!!!

Not to add to the pressure, but also check if the venues you research offer early or late ceremonies.  Outdoors in August can be seriously hot here!

I think you would be better off going with a package. For one thing it's probably cheaper than piecing your own thing together, plus you'll have the headache of having lots and lots of vendors to coordinate.

The Springs Preserve has some very reasonable packages and so does the Flamingo for outdoor spaces.

As mentioned above the summers in Vegas are VERY hot, check the weather before you decide.
