need suggestions on reception/dinner in Vegas

I was all set and ready with Trevi until she sent me the seating chart and there is a possibility that another wedding might be scheduled in the same floor. That is one of my major pet peeves. I dont mind a dinner party but another wedding literally a few feet away is a no go.
Were expecting about 40 guests and I would like to stay under 3000 for the mean and alcohol. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance :)

you could check out firefly or maggianos. both had good prices. grand lux cafe in palazzo/venetian seemed fairly resonable as well with a private room @ the palazzo. good luck!

That is a bummer!  I am having my dinner at Trevi as well but I'm pretty sure we'll meet the minimum for a private room...One comment though and don't take this the wrong way because I totally understand how you feel, but keep in mind if you can't find a restaurant with comparable menu/rpice for that day that it is vegas and there are thousands of people that get married there every weekend, so chances are you will run into several other brides no matter where you go.  Also, I talked to the DJ that works with Trevi (Brian Conley) and he told me that even if we did NOT have the Mezzanine to ourselves we would not even NOTICE another party there and they would not be bothered by his music.    Good luck!!

Try Maggianos- you can have the private Calabria room that can fit 50 people max. The family style dinner is about 40 per person including sodas- and you can also add your cake or dj to your room minimum, I believe it is a 3k minimum for that room, its beautiful and has a bar right in the room!

We went with Canaletto at the Venetian. It has a similar menu as Trevi and they have a few private rooms and great prices for group dining.

I'm going to second Maggiano's - If you opt for a luncheon instead of a dinner, its even less!

    Awesome suggestions everyone!
@aegrish I know I'm going to run into brides in Vegas that is a given.. I just dont want to share a room with one. I'll talk to Michelle again and see if we can reserve the entire space..

I'm also going to look into some steakhouses. I'm ok with paying a more for a private room as long as we have a space all to ourselves.
