SUVs who has one need input...thought I'd ask my fellow knotties

My next car will be an SUV and thought I'd see who has what and if they've had good luck with it. I appreciate an feedback, advice, etc and thank you in advance.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about new SUV's but I gotta brag about mine since I love it so much lol

I have a 1996 GMC Jimmy [super old, I know!]. It has 160,000 miles on it and runs super strong. We had to replace the transmission, but everything else runs great. It isn't huge, but it has plenty of space..and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg for gas since it's a V6. I love Chevy and GMC, it's all I've ever owned [except for a miserable Ford Probe 10 years ago lol].

My dad drives a brand new GMC Acadia, and he loves it. it's a V8 so it takes lots of gas, but it runs great, and has a third row seat that flips down and gives lot of extra space!

Good luck with your vehicle search! I spent 2 months looking for a new car, and decided I wanted to stick with my Jimmy!

Avoid Mercedes like the plague unless it comes with a long warranty. I had an '05 G-series and over the course of five years, it had eight different power window motors blow out, spread out amongst all the doors. Of course five of those came post-warranty costing me $900 or so each time. MB USA was adamant that there was no defect (umm so you're saying it's normal for eight window motors to die?) and would do nothing, so I got rid of it a few months ago. Will never buy another benz after their lack of support.

I have a 2011 GMC Terrain and I really like it. It is great on gas!

I have a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander GT. It's a smaller one with foldaway third row seating. I love it.

My husband loves his Ford Explorer - I think it's an 07? When he's ready to upgrade, he's already said he'd get another Explorer. I really want the Edge to be my next car, we test drove one last summer and I loved it.
