Vendor Review: Jewels That Dance (Asheville)

I got my great-grandmothers ring from my mom as my engagement ring- but it wasn't me. I loved the sentimental part, but wanted something i really LOVED. I decided to take the stone out and design my own ring. I went around to a lot of jewelers in Asheville and found Jewels That Dance downtown.

They were the only place that let me talk directly to the jeweler (not just a salesperson and not just buying out of a catalog). Paula is fantastic! She has a computer program that she can basically design ANYTHING you want and it will op up a picture with what the ring will look like. She is understanding and will work with you until you love it!

After the first wax was made she said it did not pass her inspection and they had to re-do it. I loved that she wanted the ring to be perfect, just like I did! Also, it was tough to leave my great-granmother's ring with her, but I trusted her and she did an amazing job.

The ring is something you have to live with for the rest of your life. It may as well be amazing and jsut what you are looking for! Even if you don't want to design your own ring, they have plenty there to choose from! I plan to buy my fiances ring there as well. I also plan to have her remake my great-grandmother's ring's setting into something new to wear on my right hand.

Her prices are not the lowest and not the highest, but she will work with you. And if you are on a budget, she will buy gold from you to make the ring cost less out of pocket. Plus, as most people in AVL, I liked supporting a local business/artist.

I live near Asheville and have been wanting to have my Grandma's ring made into a wedding band for myself. Where is she located in Asheville? Do you have the number for them?
