Centerpiece Help

I'm trying to find the "last touch" for my centerpieces and am really struggling; if anyone can help please do!  I'm looking for round tree trunk slics about an inch or so thick.  I will need about 28 of them.  Can't find this sort of thing anywhere.  Suggestions are SO appreciated.

Maybe you should see if someone can cut a few thick branches for you?  Helluva lot cheaper.

Have you tried JoAnn Fabrics? I believe I saw stuff like you're describing near the woodburning tools (i.e. http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/productdetail.jsp?pageName=search&flag=true&PRODID=xprd623648).
