Anyone have any good ideas for attendant gifts?

I think it's really dependent upon your group, but I know one girl who purchased capcatchers for her attendants.  I gave my girls giftcards and necklaces and H gave his guys a gadget set that they can use for fishing. 

My best advice is to not give them anything (and this goes for favors too) that has your names and/or wedding date on it.

I am not to that stage of planning yet but, my sister-in-law gave us a necklace and earrings for the day of and she also gave us a cute pair of flip flops for the reception to wear so we didnt have to wear are heals the whole night. I personally liked it, It was something simple and stuff Ill use other than just the wedding day.

I gave all my girls a Kate Spade cosmetic case, as well as custom made brooches and their jewelry.  I picked the jewelry so that it was something they could wear over and over again.

My husband got his guys wooden valet boxes with their inital engraved on them (little wood boxes for the guys to throw their keys, wallet, watch, etc. in on their dresser).

I got my girls a Coach clutch (go to the outlets), one of those purse hooks for the table (I found cute heart shaped ones online for about $3 a piece), and their jewelry.  My Fi got his guys those handheld video recorders that plug right into your computer.  Four of his guys are new/soon to be dads and he thought they'd all find it useful.  he found them online at Overstock for about $100 each and they came with a cute little tripod stand.  I know on the Knot they're $200-$300.

im giving my girls gift cards to design 1 along with shampoo and hairspray, flip flops, tissues with their initials, jewelry, bath and body works lotion and body spray...

we just ordered th groomsmen gifts online at lillian vernon.. they are getting koozie cups... they requested we get them these...as well as a gift card to their favorite restaurant or store....

I'm getting something different for each of my girls. There are 7, and they are all very different so one thing wouldn't suit each of them. For one girl, I'm getting her a lolita wine glass, wine stopper, and chocolates, for another a coach coin purse.
I'm also giving them their jewelery for the day of, but I have made it clear to them that is NOT a part of their thank-you gift, it is just something I wanted to do for them.

FI is doing the same thing for his guys.
