Bachelorette Party

I know its WAAAAYYY early for this... but I was just wondering. I am having a small wedding, maybe two or three attendants and my sister, who will be maid of honor, lives 200+ miles away. Her and I will be doing a lot of facebook and email planning together lol. I know it's tradition for MOH to throw this party, but what if she lives that far away?

I have had to do all my best friends (which weddings I was in) the weekend of their wedding. We just didn't get wasted the night before. We all left after the rehearsal dinner and stayed up prety late, but everyone of us was looking beautiful and fine the next day!!

When my cousin got married her sister lived in Arizona and we were all in Phily. She came in on a Friday and we went out Friday, but the wedding was Sunday. No one went crazy and everyone was fine by Sunday. Also a friend that got married on Labor Day weekend Sunday her MOH was from California. We did Friday for a Sunday wedding.

Not sure what day your wedding is or when your sister plans on coming in but would Thursday night for a Saturday work?

I know this can be a long day but what about the day/weekend of your shower? Assuming your sister will be at the shower. I know a few people who have done that.
