We realized last week that FI's ring no longer fit him since he lost weight. No biggie, it was only $10. So I went to the website I bought it from, ordered another ring for another $10. Only... I haven't received the replacement ring yet. I bought it off Etsy and the guy lives 3 hours away from me. Last time I ordered we got the ring in 3 days. It's now been over a week and nothing! I emailed him... nothing! No reply. The status said shipped but I doubt that because it's been saying that since Monday. It does not take 4 days to travel 3 hours!
Gah! Sorry, just had to complain.
And I apologize for not being around lately! Classes started this week and both FI and I have been really busy. We also a wedding this weekend (the first Pakastani/Muslim wedding I've ever been to). It's fun! Two days of wedding stuff, but definitely a cool experience. A little bit of a culture shock which I wasn't expecting because I've had Muslim/Pakistani neighbors for years and find them to be very "like me". Weddings on the other hand... WAY different! And in a good way, I'm enjoying myself. Anywho, maybe next week I'll be on more as things settle down a bit. I miss you ladies!
Oh... and I'm at the ONE MONTH MARK!!! The end.

I believe in a lot of things. I believe in fresh tennis balls, the healing power of bunnies, and that the novels of Susan Sontag are something I'll never read. In fact, I don't even know who Susan Sontag is. What is she... like... a painter? I believe in Crystal Lite because I believe in ME. I believe in the movies of Val Kilmer, though these days it ain't so easy. I believe in Darren Sproles, the word "dabble", the first season of "Silk Stockings", and big, warm, moist, gooey chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth and all over your face.
