Escort Card Ideas :) PIP Heavy

We are doing escort cards and I thought I'd share some of the ideas I liked.

They are all from Martha Stewart's website. I like the boards, too, and may eventually default to them if I get lazy :) I think the first one is awesome but I think that some of my older guests may have a hard time reading papers that small....I think  I like the middle one the most right now.

But another thing I thought of: My MOH (sis) makes these awesome paper oragami roses that we could somehow incorporate. She is making some big ones for my table cards, and she can also make them little bitty. Hmmm....

  • I like the middle one the best too.    I think this is what I am doing, but probably only one cork with a slit in the stop of it. and red ribbon.

Those are really pretty!! Have you started collecting wine corks?
  • We collect them anyway (FI's grandfather makes things out of them) but we don't have enough.  I came across a pack of them at Target online the other day and it says they have them in my local store so I am going to get them this weekend.

That's really cool! My sister used to keep them in a glass jar above her fridge. But she moved, and I guess they got tossed :/ You might want to check local wineries, too. :) That, and have all your wine drinkin' buddies help to collect! :D
  • We're doing a seating chart. I have a gorgeous frame I can't wait to put it in. I obviously won't create the chart until all the RSVPs have been returned. I'll create it in Publisher and then have it printed. Here are my inspiration photos:

Mine will probably be most similar to this one.

I love the look of this, but I want something a little more elegant.

  • My SIL is making hanging tags, stamped with lemon and limes (theme!) and we are hanging them on old frames/window panes. Just need to get out to the market to find either or.

Those are really pretty, and I love the frame. We are also going to have one of our fav engagement pictures blown up and put on the art easle, so that's why I'm leaning more towards the tabletop displays. I guess it really depends on how many RSVPs we get back also, but I love the idea :)
