Wow, this weekend has been crazy! I spent the past few days at my parents' house to catch up on a bunch of to-do's...
My shower invite arrived and my sister did SUCH a good job!
I also did a little registry stalking and I couldn't believe how quickly a few of the items have already gone... I literally added the OXO salt and pepper grinders to BBB on Friday night and they're fulfilled today!! So I'm officially not going to look at the registry anymore... if I want to add anything, I might have my mom do it!
Last night, my dad and I stayed up past 2am to finish printing, cutting, and framing our table names/descriptions and I SPY's. SUPER excited.. just wish I took a few pics to post, but I asked my dad to send me a few so I'll post them later if he does.
I also bought a RD dress that's blue and white floral with pockets!!
Love it! and I know I can wear it many more times. Now I have to find a cardigan and shoes to go with it, as I'm sure it'll be cold the night before our wedding.
Totally unexpected check: On Friday, I contacted our family friend who is our cake baker, to see if there was any chance she would be available this weekend. Turned out she was! She brought over 6 different cake samples this morning and we narrowed it down to two cake flavors and discussed our design idea. She's going to send me a few sketches this week!
Last check... Long story short, FI has a huge neck from playing football and lifting (17-17.5) but other than that, his shirt size is M....... We stopped by MW to explain that we wanted to get a shirt fitted to him... the manager must have liked us because she gave the ivory shirt to us for free..! We also brought it to the tailor to get it taken in and it'll be ready in a week. Now, instead of wearing a collar extender (that chokes him all day), he'll have a collar that is comfortable and the rest of the shirt will fit him too.
This past weekend was great for checks, but yet there are still 30 to-do items on my list over the next two weeks. So excited for it to be in the final stretch!! Thanks for letting my brag, ladies!!
