I planned on booking my bridal party appointments at my usual salon. It is out of the way from the venue and hotel but figured I was familiar with it and felt comfortable. Recently though the woman booking the appointments has been giving me the ‘run around’
The ceremony starts at 5:30 and she insisted the only appointments they had would have my party (8 people total) finished at 11:30, I felt this was too early (especially in July!) so I asked if there was anything else. She then said my makeup could start at 10, an hour gap for the girls who could only start at 11, and get everyone out by 1. (a more reasonable time) But also mentioned the reason for the trouble was another bridal party scheduled. I am fine with this, but I know for a fact I was the first one to schedule, and now feel like this other party is getting the time slots that would be more convenient for us.
I found another salon, closer and more accommodating, but feel guilty backing out now (no money has been put down) Basically any advice? Should I go with my gut instinct and go with the second salon, or be loyal to the first??
