Color scheme and table decor

My color scheme is navy and champagne.  So far, I have champagne on my dress, and the bm's dresses will be navy.  We haven't gone dress shopping yet, so they may have a champagne slash or something as well.We are decorating the hall by draping white fabric over the walls (as mentioned in a previous post). The tablecloths will be white.  To add some color I wanted to have an organza overlay on the tables.  I originally wanted a navy overlay with white candles.  But then I realized I don't really have any champagne other than my dress.  Should I use a champagne overlay with navy candles instead.  Or should I just not care?  By the way, our centerpieces are going to be a hurricane glass with pebbles and a beta and about six candles circling the hurricane. And this ended up being longer than I wanted.  Sorry for that.

You can pull in more of the colors in your stationery, including favors, place/escort cards, menu cards, table numbers, etc. You can also get both colors on your cake. What color are the pebbles in the centerpiece? Can you wrap champagne ribbon/fabric on the candles? What color are the napkins?Have you googled navy & white inspiration boards or navy & champagne inspiration boards? You might get a good number of hits in the image search to get some ideas.

If you want you could possibly do alternating table covers, some champage some navy. Or if you are doing seat covers do the sashes alternating from table to table. The ladies will give you great suggestoins also.

We're going to have white napkins.  And we're skipping the favors (as of right now anyways).  The pebbles are probably going to be navy because I haven't seen any in champagne.

If you put navy pebbles in the bowl, maybe you can tie the bowl with a champgne ribbon.  As some of the other girls suggested you could get placecards with a champagne trim and then print them in navy.    Also I've seen some gorgeous color choice dresses that are white with champagne trim-my colors are blue and silver but i LOVED the white dress with champagne trim-soooo classy.    On the tables could you do navy overlay with champagne candles?HTH

I have been looking, online mostly, for the candles, and I haven't seen any champagne-ish colored candles.  I like the idea of tying ribbon around the fish bowls/hurricanes!  I still have a lot of time so I'm hopping it will all work out.

I like the idea of navy overlays.  If you use champagne for that, I don't think it would really stand out as well.  I used hurricanes as my centerpieces and wrapped a ribbon around them and fastened with glue dots.
