I have a lot of questions today but I'm trying to do 1000 things at once it feels like! We are not getting married in a church so we have free reign over the music we pick. Could be religious but doesn't have to be. We agreed we'd do semi traditional/classical type music for the processional and then we'd do a more modern song for the recessional as something more upbeat/to get the party going. So after listening to a bunch of different versions of classic wedding music last night, the only thing I like is Canon in D! The rest sound blah to me. Maybe I'm more untraditional than I thought. One "traditional" thing I heard that I really liked was a youtube of a saxophone "Here Come the Bride" but it was slow and drawn out so it wasn't so standard. I can't find saxophone wedding music though to buy (hiring a musician isn't in the budget). So I have a few questions....
-Anyone ever seen saxophone wedding music?
-What music are you using (type of music or specific songs)?
-Would it be weird to have instrumentals of modern songs and then go to Canon in D for my entrance?
I thought this was going to be easy but nothing is exciting me. And, the last thing I want to think before I walk down the aisle is if we picked the "wrong" music because we just settled on whatever.
