Who's wearing a veil?

I am OBSESSED with my veil.  I am wearing a single layer ballet length veil (to the knee).  It has heavy beading about an inch in around the entire veil.  I cannot stand the idea of a blusher so I never even considered one.

When I tried on my dress they put a cathedral veil on me and I loved it, I'll probably add a blusher too. I'm also looking for a hairpiece for the reception.

I tried one on and I just was NOT feeling it. Even my Mom was like... yeah it looks better without it.

I've never liked veils at all, so no one could convince me to wear one.  I'm not even wearing white or anything resembling a typical wedding dress, so I obviously am not tied to any conventions. Luckily, my family isn't fussy on veils, either, so no one's even asked yet. 

I can't wait for them to flip when I tell them I'm wearing Doc Martens instead of dress shoes...
