Wedding Invitations & Paper

Response card back

Hi Ladies,

I am designing my own response cards and I was wondering if anything needed to go on the back of them??

I know this sounds odd but I though I remembered reading a post a while back about some people marking something on the back of a response card??? I cannot remember what that was for!?

I did not put anything on the back of mine.  i wouldnt think there would be anything to put on the back.  If however you do want to add additional information in with the invitations I had little slips of paper with our wedding website on it as well as a slip that had simple driving directions from the church to the reception venue.

A friend of mine put all accomidation information and driving directions on the back of the invitation.

[QUOTE]Some people will write a number (for example, The Adams Family is #1).  Then if they forget to fill out the name, you have a way to figure out whose RSVP it is.

  • Mine were printed with a solid colour because my invitation guy thought it looked cool.  I didn't really care either way.  We wrote small numbers on the back.

I've also heard there are invisible pens/markers that glow under UV light, so your guests don't see the number but you can find it if you need to.  Good if you are nitpicky about their appearance.
