Invites

Can I send 200 and expect 150? How many can I invite and expect 150?

Re: Invites

  • You should always plan for 100% attendance.  Some brides get 40% attendance, some get over 100%.  How many OOT guests you have, the dynamics of your family, friends, and co-workers, whether your wedding is on a holiday weekend, etc. can all play a part in it, and there really is no formula.

Dresses may be easier to take in than let out, but guest lists are not. -- kate51485
  • My fiance and I are having 130 people tops...no more no less...Once we receive "regrets" in the mail, we have a back-up list of people we would like to be able to invite but just didn't have room for due to the size of the venue...I assume before the invites even go out people will probably let us know if they are unable to make it since most people will know our wedding date due to the save the dates...Air on the side of caution though.... better safe than sorry....all the things Ive read say expect around 15% to not show but then other things say people you thought would cancel show and people you thought would show cancel...I agree with Squirrly...totally depends on your dynamics too..
