Online rsvp.....do I include the envelope?

My fiance and I decided to have our guests rsvp online or by phone. We have the rsvp card. What do we do with the envelope? Should I just put the rsvp cards in the inner envelope without their individual envelopes? Or if I put them inside their envelopes do I write anything on it or just leave it blank? I can't find anything online about the envelopes and I'm just not sure what to do.

Thanks for your help!

Heidi

Give your guests the rsvp card and the envelope, in the event they want to respond via mail.

Honestly, electronic rsvps are usually a very bad idea. People don't rsvp in a timely manner, because they have to remember to go online or pick up the phone and call. You will likely have to make more follow up calls because people won't reply by the deadline.

In my opinion, it's a formal event and deserves a paper rsvp anyway.  If you have the envelopes anyway, just put your address on the outside,  stick a stamp on them and include them.
  • I agree. I am old school about certain things, and wedding invitations are one of them. I think the option of calling or online is fine, but I would still do the card and envelope.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
