Wedding Invitations & Paper

custom stamps

Has anyone ordered custom stamps? RSVP or I Do? I just found these, I don't know how I missed them! I think they are very cute, but is it worth the extra money? Instead of .44, they are like $1!

Re: custom stamps

  • Zazzle will let you make totally custom stamps, to look like anything you want.  I thought about it, but it's not worth the extra money.

  • We just got the heart stamps from the post office.  They were nice and didn't cost anything extra.
  • I don't think they're worth the extra money, especially since that can add up fast if you have a large guest list.  Zazzle sometimes has face-value sales on postage, but otherwise it's not worth it.  USPS.com has a huge variety of stamps that are mostly standard price, we're planning on ordering something that we like from there.  Honestly, very, very few of your guests will notice the stamp.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • When I took my invites to the post office, I asked for any wedding stamps and was able to get wedding band stamps for the same price as regular stamps. I debated custom stamps, but in the end, people throw the envelopes (and your $1 a pop stamps!) away.
