should i invite them?

ok, my fiances brothers step-mom is my dilema. i dont like her to much. alot of the family doesnt. and her kids drive everyone crazy! and they are teenagers. but they are really immature. she is the kind of person that has to make it all about themselves, or her kids. at my fiances niece's 1st and 2nd bday party she wanted everyone to wait 2 hours for her to get a tattoo. and then at thanksgiving she told us how she got her nipples pierced! (shes a big 48 yo woman!) so i dont know whether to invite her to the wedding or not. we are having a small wedding at the little white chapel in las vegas. so only about 25-30 ppl. we are having a small reception after so would it be ok to just invite them to that? because even that would be to much of her! would it be rude? even if we explained only IMMEDI ATE family to the wedding? HELP?!

Your fiance's brother's step-mom? Would that be your FI's step-mom too? Does HE want her there?

Or you could invite her and hope she's so late she misses the whole event. I'm kind of hoping that for an evil uncle and aunt.

I think if she's married to your fiance's dad then you kind of have to invite her. The spouse of anyone you invite to your wedding is supposed to be invited as well, this goes double for step-parents. (I have a nasty step-parent of my own, sure wish I didn't have to invite her, but I do.) 

Perhaps you can ask her to tone it down a little bit for your big day? Even better, your fiance should ask his father, and his father should really put his foot down and insist upon appropriate behavior. Is she at all reasonable enough to understand?

I'd share your concerns with some of your nearest and dearest, so that if she does cause nonsense on your big day, they can help diffuse the situation.

You should really be letting your FI handle his family.  But inviting someone to a wedding without their spouse is just about the rudest thing you can do short of physically slapping them in the face.
