Wedding Invitations & Paper

David's Bridal invites?

Has anyone used these? They are a lot cheaper than others I've looked at and was wondering if anyone has used these for their wedding.

They send out free samples.  I ordered a few, and liked them, but ended up going with this seller on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/SunnyAndCo

  • I believe David's Bridal invitations are from Carlson Craft.  If you go to Party City or search the web for Carlson Craft dealers, you should be able to order the same invites at a discount.
  • We bought our invitations through David's Bridal to save the time it would take to assemble our invitations. We spent a lot on invites only to be disappointed once they arrived. I wrote the same review on their website but was not allowed to disclose we spent $250 on invites. The review also stated they have the right to edit or remove your review. WOW! The invites arrived in three different boxes. To make matters worse, the ribbon was not even tied but just cut. So, at the end of the day we could have made something just as nice at home with a lower cost. I called to see what the problem was. A lady, who was rude right off the bat, answered and sounded like she had this speech ready for whoever called. She basically told me that I could return the invites and pay to have them assembled ($45 per 25 invites) but assembly required is in the fine print. I went back to where she told me it was, and what do you know in very tiny light colored print it states assembly required. Though the invites look nice, it really wasn't worth the trouble.

My product arrived but not in the condition I expected it to. The invites were in multiple boxes and I now have to hand assemble 100 invites, place them in the envelope, and place addresses when the idea for paying so much was so this would be taken care of. When I called, the lady on the phone was rude as soon as I stated that I was unsatisfied. Hope this can save someone else from this situation.
