Okay, so here is the rought time line for our wedding day (oct, 2012):
*3:00 ceremony
*5/6:00 dinner (undecided about time yet; cake cutting will be right after dinner)
*7/8:00 open reception for anyone to attend (first dance will take place then)
*10/11 leave!
We'd like to have a very short reecption because we don't want people to be bored. My fiance and I aren't big on dancing, neither are our families. We have some friends who like to dance but we don't want people to feel awkward becuase they are just sitting watching others dance.
It acceptable to start the reception at 5:00 and end by 10:00? Or is even that too long for an evening of not dancing?
