My fiancé is from Spain, I’m from the United States. We’re planning on getting married in Spain and have a reception in the U.S. at a later date. My question is this; should I wait until I reserve locations for both places right now to include on one invitation, or should I send invitations with only information about the Spanish wedding with a promise of more information about the reception in the U.S.? Also, we want to invite some people to both events, but not everyone. How do we manage that? Or do we just suck it up and send an invitation inviting everyone to Spain and say something like, “if you’re unable to attend, we will be having a reception at a later date.” We’re assuming not many people will be able to come to the wedding in Spain as it’s quite expensive, but in the event that many people do, we need to be prepared to pay for each guest at each location. Is there a better way to word this?! Also, if we send multiple invitations, postage and invitations will get pretty expensive as we're mailing all over the world. We've decided against save the dates as we're trying to save money, should we send them anyway? Help! Also, does anyone know where I could find a free Spanish themed wedding website?
