Invites Going Out Tomorrow-Help!

Hello,

I just finished stuffing all my envelopes and checking every detail again, and again.  I just remembered that I saw where a lot of you ladies had mentioned going to different  post offices to mail your invites.  Can you tell me what the reasoning is behind this?  I assume to reduce the chances that one or more of the 100 envelopes that you give them won't come up missing or lost.  Is there more to this that I am aware?  Thanks for your assistance!!

To get them weighed by different scales.  It's not just the outbound postoffice that might weigh your invites - the receiving one later can too, and slap a postage due sticker on them.  So, I had mine weighed and checked for thickness twice to be sure we got the same answer & lessen the chances of a screwy scale making things difficult.
