I've been invited to wedding where I have to buy my stamp to RSVP. I guess I wouldnt necessary think is the bride obligation.

Technically, no.

You get out your own personal stationery and write

"Miss Gael Smith
accepts with pleasure
the kind invitation of Mr. and Mrs. Jones
for Saturday, the fifth of June."

Put a stamp on it and mail it.

Unfortunately, these days, doing it this will will result in a total surprise party so go with the stamped, self addressed RSVP cards and save yourself a headache.  I don't know many people who will care.
