Wedding Invitations & Paper

Wording help please?

Which sounds better/is more correct?

A: Together with our families, please join us as we unite in marriage

B: Together with our parents, please join us as we exchange our marriage vows

C: The pleasure of your company is requested as we celebrate our marriage

I'm not sure if C is an option, as both sets of parents have gifted money for our wedding, which means we should include them on the invite?  I'm also happy to hear other suggestions, as I really have no idea what I'm doing!  BTW, it is not a church wedding, so I assume "honour of your presence" is out.  Thanks!

Re: Wording help please?

  • Ok thank you!  That's very helpful.  FWIW, there were a few sample invites on a website in first person, but I will use 3rd person to be correct.  :)
  • How about C but modified a little to be:

C: The pleasure of your company is requested at the wedding of: X&Y?
