Seating Chart Display Help

Hello,
I want to create my own seating chart and go to Staples to have it blown up to be larger for the guest to see at the Reception. However, I'm not sure how to exactly start the seating chart display with the list of names. I would like to have our last name initial in the background and then the guest names over top.  Any ideas, help or advice would be great. Thanks

    What types of software do you have access to? Photoshop or Illustrator are both great options. You can also do it in MS Word and then convert the file to .pdf, but you won't have as many editing options.
