I've been putting my name first, because it's first alphabetically. Does it matter? Does that look narcissistic?

Your name first is correct because you're female.  Doesn't matter about who comes first alphabetically. 

I don't see any issues.  Do you have a wedding website?  I'd include the link to that, if you do.  And - "Formal Invitation to Follow" somewhere.

I don't have a website (I don't really wnat to do one if I can get away with it) and the front of the postcard says: "Please save the date for our wedding. My name, his name. Date, Location. Formal invitation to follow."
