Wedding Invitations & Paper

Please help proof my STD text.

I'm sending STD postcards. The majority of our guests are coming from oot. I'm including pertinent travel information on the back of the card:

Rooms for our guests are being held at the following hotel until September 17:

Hotel Name
XXX Hotel Dr.
Hotel City, CA 00000
(888) 111-2222

Please indicate you are booking for the Mylastname/Hislastname wedding block:  RES ID: AAA000, to obtain the discounted rate of $150 per night.

Transportation will be provided between the hotel and the ceremony and reception sites.

The closest airports are:
Burbank (BUR) - X miles
Los Angeles International (LAX) - X miles

Sincerely,
Mery and O

I've been putting my name first, because it's first alphabetically. Does it matter? Does that look narcissistic?

Re: Please help proof my STD text.

  • Your name first is correct because you're female.  Doesn't matter about who comes first alphabetically.

I don't see any issues.  Do you have a wedding website?  I'd include the link to that, if you do.  And - "Formal Invitation to Follow" somewhere.

Dresses may be easier to take in than let out, but guest lists are not. -- kate51485
  • I don't have a website (I don't really wnat to do one if I can get away with it) and the front of the postcard says: "Please save the date for our wedding. My name, his name. Date, Location. Formal invitation to follow."

    Thanks!
