Place Card Question

Something I never really thought of or paid attention to before...
Names on a placecard: couple (Mr. and Mrs.) ? or individual (one for Mr. and one for Mrs.) ? (all couples will be sitting at the same table)

<div>Thanks! Did you do "Mr. and Mrs. John Smith" or "Jane and John Smith"?</div>

  • We will do ours individually since they will be color coded with what they ordered for dinner
  • I think either would be ok.  Are your family/friends more of the formal type?  Then say Mr. and Mrs. John Smith.  Are your family/friends more of the casual type?  Then John and Mary Smith would be ok.
