Wedding Invitations & Paper

Best places to get Invite suite printed?

I'm trying to get my invitation suite printed (save the date, invite, rsvp, thank you cards).  I have been looking for the best place to get 150-200 pcs online.  Any suggestions?

I've tried Vista Print, U-Print, and a few more.  :-(  Gotta get this budget DOWN...

  • Can you give us more info?  What are your bare minimum requirements?

  • One of the girls on my Club board highly recommends a site called Catprint. She got all her paper items printed there and raved about the quality and the price. They do custom sizes as well. I'm thinking about getting my stuff printed through them as well.

  • I am going to try to print about about 100 to 120 invites (I think that's enough).  I wanted a nice flat invite (like a note card), and I was thinking of doing the Save the Dates and the RSVP cards as post cards.  My budget is $400 (not including postage).

I am going to get them designed myself, and whatever I chose will be the "upload your own design" kind.  The only thing I really want that I think I'll have to give up is cream colored paper.  I really wanted cream colored paper, but most of these places don't seem to offer anything but white :-(
  • Wow!  I just checked out Catprint!  That is a great price!  I priced with a local printer and he was talking about $675 for the suite (not including the wedding programs).  This is a VAST difference :-)
  • We got ours printed locally and paid $240 for 200 on heavy weight (65#, I think) paper.  Quick turnaround too.
  • If you're not worried about letterpress or thermography or anything - just printing - talk to your local Staples/etc.  They'll have cream cardstock.

  • Fedex Kinkos can also do them, if you need them in a hurry. We've had similar work done (not for weddings but other social events) and they are quick, do good work and often you can pick up discount coupons.
  • Check out Costco's website.  Search for "wedding".  My save the dates were high quality and fast, and extremely affordable.
